Located in Pointe-Claire
Salary $60K-$70K

3 Weeks Paid Time Off

Quarterly Bonus ProgramResponsibilities
– Handling export files β€œA-to-Z”, including: quoting, booking, dispatching, Preparing ocean freight documents, offering/issuing insurance certificates, tracking, troubleshooting, and invoicing.
– Coordinating freight daily with vendors/agents.
– Participating in department and branch team meetings.
– Rate/contract negotiation.
– Issuing pertinent freight documentation.
– Constant monitoring and replying to e-mails in the export’s and personal work mailboxes.
– Ensuring appropriate margins are met on shipments.
– Ensuring vendor compliance with service standards
– Maintaining and fostering vendor and client relationships.
– Timely actioning vendor and client requests.
– Cross Train on Imports in order to cover when necessaryQualifications
-Minimum of 3+ years of Ocean Import Experience
– Experience handling complex cargo-Dangerous Goods, ITAR, Project Cargo
– Dangerous Goods training Certification-IATA and IMDG strongly preferred
– Experience with Cargowise preferred
– Excellent customer service skills
– Ability to keep up with fast paced changes in the international logistics environmentSummary
