You are comfortable liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders and be a great communicator.Job DescriptionYou will be key in supporting the operations and administration for the office, supporting the Cost Centre Lead in Vancouver:

  • Office management including arranging / ordering / receipt of office stationary, office fruits and other items.
  • Assistance manage office social events and/or business events held in the office.
  • Support new starter on boarding incl liaison with other parts of the business e.g. I.T for start up packs.
  • Support Turner & Townsend’s ‘Bid to Win’ process for all pursuits within the Western Canadian business, ensuring engaged participation from designated staff to achieve a high-quality deliverable.
  • Support with meetings (book boardroom rooms, prepare and distribute documents, action items) for various internal meetings.
  • Take minutes/action items in meetings.
  • Follow up with Management/Team on developing agendas and distributing/preparing documents.
  • Raising purchase orders and invoices associated with office activities.
  • Assisting office staff with booking flights and/or accommodation for business trips.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education certificate, diploma or degree preferred.
  • First Aid qualification beneficial.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Experience working with consultancy organizations is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in business administrative settings and meetings with Senior Management.
  • Document Control experience desirable.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, team player, and shows initiative.
  • Able to utilize MS Office 365 tools at the intermediate level and able to adapt to organization software platforms used for project bids.

Additional InformationThe base salary range for this full-time role is $65,000 – $75,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
