The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.Rate Range: CAD $75-$80/HrJob Description:

  • OnBase Developer / Architect with 15+ yrs. of experience in insurance domain with expertise in good technical skills, handling critical issues, excellent communication, and time management skills. Life and Annuity Insurance experience is must.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, and deployment of custom workflow solutions with the capability to integrate with other internal and external IT systems.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve OnBase ECM software and infrastructure issues.
  • Work with business partners and the OnBase Scrum team to analyze business requirements and build functional specifications, including but not limited to interface changes and process flows.
  • Plan for and test software updates, defects, and configuration changes.
  • Work closely with business partners and IT management to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, rework of existing code through the use of program development software alternatives, or integration of purchased solutions or a combination of the available alternatives.
  • Document, test, implement, and provide on-going support for the applications.
  • OnBase integrations includes, but are not limited to: Workflow, DIP, XML DIP, DRIP, Advanced Capture.
  • Good hands-on Experience in troubleshooting issues using Hyland Diagnostic Console.
  • Expertized in different areas OnBase System Administration, Workflow & Application programming interface.
  • Ability to create test cases, create necessary test files and data, execute test plans, test modified programs, verify logic, debug, and write relevant documentation.
  • Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs.
  • Work with various development, QA and Test environment teams for overall integration strategy.
  • Good working experience on automation tools and framework.
  • Contribute for the establishment and adherence to quality assurance guidelines and standards defined by project and/or organization requesting testing services
  • Conduct periodic project review and report to the leadership team
  • Responsible for producing various test metrics, defect reports, status reports etc
  • Good to have US life and annuities experience.
  • Strong knowledge in OnBase HTML E-Forms, Unity Forms, C# Unity API Scripts, VBScripts & Java Scripts
  • Good Experience working in C#, Java Script and SQL
