Randstad is seeking two Operations Officers to join a leading Financial Institution in Montreal. This 12-month contract position offers the possibility of extension and conversion to permanent employment. You will be supporting callers (employees/government/merchants) by managing calls, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and collaborating with team members. This role is primarily phone-based with 100% of the work involving telephone interactions.Position: Customer Service Representative
Shift: 30-hour, 5-day work week, Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm (rotational shift schedule).
Salary: $26/hour
Location: Montreal (in-office 2 days a week: Wednesday and Thursday)Advantages
This position offers the opportunity to work with a leading financial institution, gain valuable experience in a dynamic call center environment, and potentially convert to a permanent role. Four weeks of training are provided following a hybrid model.Responsibilities

• Managing inbound calls from internal and external partners.* Addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently.* Maintaining accurate records of all interactions.* Resolving complaints with composure.* Collaborating with team members to ensure excellent caller experience.* Meeting performance targets, including call handling time and caller satisfaction.* Staying updated on product knowledge and procedures.* Confirming requests accurately.* Meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English and French) – read, write, speak fluently.* Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in both French and English.* Active listening skills.* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.* Basic Computer Skills (MS Office Suite).* 1+ years of call center experience or phone customer service experience (phone etiquette).* Resourceful, able to find information using provided tools. Strong problem-solving skills.* Post-secondary education or equivalent.
