Position Scope:Position ScopeNACG are seeking a Tireperson to join our remote mining site team in the Fort McMurray area at our Syncrude Aurora site.This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region. For this role, NACG offers a combined rate of up to $59.35/hour as well as room for growth!For this role, NACG offers very competitive industry wages for our service provider positions!Where You’ll Be Working

• Site: Syncrude Aurora
• Schedule: 14×14, 12 hour days (paid for 11.5 hours). Days only
• Transportation: Bussing is provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts).
• Overtime: Provided after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week.

We are proud to work with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955. Successful candidates will become a part of that union. Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced Tireman until fully trained (Level 1)
• Able to set up haul trucks and heavy equipment for tire work
• Able to prepare and assemble OTR tires for installation/repair
• Operate Tire manipulators to assemble/install wheel/tire assemblies (or willing to be trained on these)

Specific Requirements

• Tire Industry Association Certificate (TIA) or TIA Training required
• Tire Manipulator (forklift or Loader style) experience an asset
• Tire truck (knuckle boom) manipulator experience an asset

Qualifications:

• Previous experience dis-assembling/assembly and removal/installation of OTR tire/wheel assemblies
• Level of pay will be determined by level of experience
• Class 3 license required (willing to train and reimburse if successful candidate does not have Class 3)

Summary:What’s NextIf you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process for a site-based role, you will be asked to provide the following: * Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a recent Driver’s Abstract

• Provide a valid copies of a CSO ticket. THis ticket must be completed through Energy Safety Canada
• Be subject to Random Testing
• Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:

• Breath Alcohol Test
• Urine Drug Test
• Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment
• Audiometric Testing
• Vision Screening
• Criminal Record Check

Once dispatched the following processes will occur:

• Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing
• An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
• After all results and paperwork are received by NACG, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details.
