About the Role

As the Executive Programmes team at the Blavatnik School of Government continues to grow, it has been restructured into three key pillars: Programme Delivery, Fellowships and Visitors, and Outreach and Engagement. The Outreach and Engagement function is central to driving the School’s global engagement strategy and expanding its open enrolment executive programmes.

This expansion has created an exciting opportunity for a Outreach and Engagement Officer to join the team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building a strong pipeline of applicants, conducting research to identify target audiences, and collaborating with the marketing team on recruitment campaigns. You will thrive on working to targets, presenting to senior leaders globally, and networking with diverse stakeholders. While not necessarily from a traditional recruitment background, you have the initiative and drive to achieve results in the executive education space.

About You

You have an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, with a proven track record in recruitment or outreach role, with demonstrable ability to identify, establish and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholder groups on a global scale at a senior level. You are skilled at building relationships across diverse groups and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create high-quality recruitment materials and present to external audiences in person and virtually.

You are familiar with using CRM software to track business development activities and have strong cultural awareness. Experience or interest in working with the public sector or senior government officials is a plus. As a proactive self-starter, you work well independently and collaborate effectively with others.

Application Process

You will be required to upload a supporting statement, your CV and the details of two referees as part of your online application.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon (UK time) on Monday 2 December 2024.

Candidates may be contacted before the application deadline for a brief preliminary conversation to talk about their candidacy. We encourage early applications and advise not waiting until the closing date.

Interviews will take place during week commencing 9 December 2024 and will be held in-person at the School.
