- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g. Reporting, Marketing, Business Analysis, IT, internal) in order to understand business billing needs and relate these to data requirements.
- Review BRD/SRS in order to assess impact to project on existing solutions as well as provide a work effort/cost assessment.
- Convert Business requirements and needs into more specific requirements that technical teams can understand, design, develop and implement.
- Participate in the overall project life cycle (requirements-to-solution design).
- Support ad-hoc requests and investigations and suggest/implement solution
- Explore new sources of information to uncover new business opportunities
- Investigate data/process anomalies; propose and implement solutions.
- Ensure the validity and integrity of data.
- Take ownership and accountability for deliverables, communicate proactively and escalate when required.
- Work with the latest automation tools and technologies in an agile environment.
- Passion and enthusiasm for analyzing large datasets and making actionable decisions.
- Able to break down the most complex problems into smaller, defined work-streams.
- Help the business “connect the dots” and understand “the big picture”.
- Effectively communicate and present results to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborate with Product, Digital, Marketing, Engineering and Data Science teams on complex products and serve as a key contributor to overall product strategy and decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, applied science / engineering, or equivalent.
- 2 to 5+ years of work experience in a Teradata, Automation Anywhere environment.
- Strong SQL programming experience: creating queries, tables, views, and procedures.
- Experience in data warehousing which include data mapping and transformation, data source analysis and data profiling.
- Able to communicate with business users to understand, document and translate their needs into an effective billing solution.
- Highly analytical skills and ability to work with large and complex technical data sets.
- Advanced technical and non-technical communications skills.
- Self motivated. Ability to research situations, identify the key issues, and then gain approval to address the opportunity from upper management.
- Ability to diagnose business problem, document, resolve, plan and deliver solution in short time.
- Automation Anywhere 360 knowledge is necessary.
- Knowledge of billing in general and company’s billing systems and tools.
- Knowledge of the telecommunications business is necessary.
- Demonstrable history of cross-team collaboration.
- Extremely rigorous with regards to the data and information provided.
- Ability to work on his/her own, with a minimum of supervision within a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Well organized.
