Randstad Canada is hiring for a Material Handler in Airdrie for one of our leading clients in the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing industry.This position is intended to be an initial contract via Randstad Canada until the employee is able to converted to the client’s team as an internal employee.The location is on East Lake Blvd, Airdrie.This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime.Starting wage is $20 per hours, pending shift schedule.Job Title: Material HandlerTraining Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM, M-F (for first 1-2 months)
Long-term shift: 4 PM – 2 AM, M-ThSpecifically, the successful candidate in this position will:Mark orders as started/completed in DMM.
Load and unload parts from the paint line.
Deliver parts to production.
Help maintain the integrity of paint line equipmentThe successful candidate must have Grade 12 or equivalent level of education, effective communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player. Knowledge/experience with basic wiring schematic symbols is an assetAdvantages
