Job description

We are seeking skilled Panel Assemblers (switch gear) to join our Calgary client for a temporary full-time position, which has the potential to go permanent. • Fabricate, assemble and install electrical and mechanical components
• Able to operate and work with switchgear equipment
• Follow all applicable design drawings, regulatory codes, and best practices
• Verify project materials against specifications to ensure correct parts and products before installation
• Communicate any quality concerns with supervisors in a timely manner
• Keep personal workspace clean and tidy
• Assist with testing, inspection, documentation as requested

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Electrical would be an asset
• Previous experience is required in assembly and electrical wiring, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Competent with hand tools and power tools
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication in English
• Team player, works well with multiple departments and clients

About the position:

• Full-time hours, on a 4-day schedule, 10-hour shifts on a day shift
• On-site parking
