Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our client.Contract Period: 9 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $35 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; 3 days on site (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday)
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PMJob Responsibilities:

• Reviewing contracts to ensure ML contract language is included where necessary/or as needed.
• Managing an inbox – actioning requests coming in to review contracts.
• Reviewing contracts for medium risk vendors.
• Assisting with organizing team.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of experience as a paralegal/ legal assistant
• Demonstrated experience with contract clauses required- reading, writing, and interrupting clauses
• General procurement, vendor management, third party risk knowledge is a requirement
• Organizational skills are a requirement
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
