Part-Time Academic (AGRN2008, Potato Production) – Winter 2026

This part-time academic will teach in person lectures and labs for AGRN2008 Potato Production for the period January to April 2026. Currently, lectures are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday from 08:35 to 09:55am and labs are scheduled on Fridays from 12:35 to 2.25pm. This part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, field tours, test preparation and evaluation as well as administration of the Brightspace page. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionRequirements: At least one year experience teaching in a postsecondary educational institution. Excellent oral, written communication skills, collegiality and interpersonal skills. A PhD in Plant Science, Horticulture, Agronomy or related disciplines, OR a Masters with two years experience in these or related disciplines.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
