Job description

The Part-time Academic’s duties are as follows: design, develop and prepare course syllabus and teaching materials for in-person delivery, hold regular office hours (at least 3 hours per week), prepare and grade assignments, quizzes, tests, and final exams. The position reports to the Chair of the Department. The term of appointment is January-April 2026.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionApplicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Economics, as well as recent teaching experience in an Economics of Innovation course. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required. Applicants without prior teaching experience in the Department of Economics should provide the names of 3 references.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
