Job Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesMATH 1000.03 Section 1: Differential & Integral Calculus I – Winter 2025The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for teaching section 01 of Differential & Integral Calculus I (MATH 1000.03) in the upcoming winter term (contract dates January 1 to April 30).The topics to be covered in the course are available from the Department Chair. Course descriptions are provided in the Undergraduate Calendar published online (https://academiccalendar.dal.ca) by the Registrar’s Office, Dalhousie University.Please see the academic timetable (www.dal.ca/timetable) for the days, times & location(s) of this course. Please note this section of the course is expected to be delivered in-person.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionA combination of M.Sc. degree in Mathematics or Statistics and previous teaching experience is required. Completion of a PhD or PhD in progress is considered an asset. The successful applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter. Experience teaching large classes or direct experience of teaching this class is considered an asset.Please provide teaching evaluations if available.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement – Local 3912
