Job Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesThis Part-Time Academic will take responsibility for the teaching and grading of THEA 1451.03 Introduction to Costume Studies from September 1 to December 31, 2025 (Fall Term).Duties will include lecture preparations and technical demonstrations, course materials and assignments, and the evaluation of students’ work. The successful candidate will work in consultation and coordination with the full-time faculty and supervise the work of one teaching assistant. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionMA or MFA in Theatre, Costume Studies, or related discipline. Candidates with a BA or BFA in Theatre, Costume Studies or related discipline and substantial professional experience in clothing construction techniques, in general, will be considered. Experience in teaching at the university level, with documented evidence of teaching ability, is an asset.Please apply online, with a copy of your curriculum vitae and a cover letter.
