Job Summary & Key Responsibilities(1 position) OCCU 5006.03: Wellness and Inclusion by Design and Technology – Winter 2025We are looking for one part-time instructor (tutor) (up to 60 hours/term). Under the guidance of the Course Professor and Lab Coordinator, the instructor will tutor and evaluate students using problem and case-based learning in Occupational Therapy Skills Labs.Tutorials will on-site for two hours on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:00 – 2:00 pm (final schedule to be confirmed by December 1, 2024). Preparation time for each lab (typically 30 minutes) may be virtual, however time/day is pending. Tutors may be required to attend on-site special events labs or exams on alternative days with advanced notice. Off-site preparation, marking and/or office hours will be required. The successful instructor is required to attend an orientation session prior to the academic term (to be scheduled). As time permits, other duties may be required to assist with lab preparation and/or delivery.Qualifications/Requirements of PositionAn entry-to-practice qualification in occupational therapy and current registration as a licensed occupational therapist are required. Master’s degree is an asset. Excellent communication and organizational skills, and scheduling flexibility are required. Technological access to the Brightspace platform will be required. Experience marking occupational therapy student assignment is preferred.
Salary Range/Pay Rate In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
