POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Accounting and Information Systems Division

The UBC Sauder School of Business is seeking applicant(s) for Part-time Instructor position(s) teaching Business Analytics in the Accounting and Information Systems Division beginning September 1, 2026.

Qualifications:
• A Masters or Ph.D. degree in a field related to the theory and tools of data analytics
• Proven teaching in related to business analytics
• Practice experience as a data scientist or data analyst
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching as evidenced by strong teaching evaluations
• Familiarity with current classroom technology and delivery approaches
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other instructors and staff

Responsibilities: The position(s) will focus primarily on teaching Business Analytics, Data management, and Business Programming to undergraduate and master-level business students. Other responsibilities and expectations include Liaising with the Undergraduate and Master program teams to prepare syllabi and materials,articipating in faculty preparatory and review meetings, and holding office hours and related activities. We also expect the candidate to engage in professional development.
