Status: Part-time
Hours: 1 to 6 hours per week

State-of-the-art facilities enhance learning giving students a solid foundation for placement experience.About the Part-time Professor, Clinical Chemistry Role:The Medical Laboratory Technologist program is seeking an experienced industry professional to lead the Clinical Chemistry lecture and lab. This advanced diploma program provides students with a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, covering both foundational and advanced concepts, techniques, and processes essential to the medical laboratory field.The successful candidate will work as a collaborative team member to support course development and instruction through the creation and delivery of all course content including lectures, laboratory exercises, evaluations and other deliverables.QualificationsAbout You:

If this sounds like you, keep reading:Education and ExperienceThe ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, with extensive expertise in Clinical Chemistry. A bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s degree is preferred. Experience in teaching and training within adult education is strongly preferred. Candidates must hold active licensure with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Experience managing classroom dynamics and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of current pedagogical principles.
