Job Description

Manage and oversee the Pharmacy & Clinic Operations Support Team

  Create, document, and optimize workflows, SOPs, and processes to ensure efficient operations for fulfilling patient pharmacy orders

  Develop and lead initiatives to support the needs of biologics and toxin patients

  Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of personnel

  Lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize cross-functional collaboration with dispensary, nursing, logistics, lab, and external stakeholders

  Ensure high standards of customer service and patient experience

  Implement and optimize new software solutions

  Function as a pharmacist bi-weekly, contributing to patient care and prescription quality

Undertake special projects as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy Operations

Skills and Requirements

University degree in Pharmacy and licensed, registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

  2 to 5 years of leadership experience in specialty pharmacy or healthcare operations

  Strong knowledge of regulatory and competitive environments for prescription drugs

  Excellent analytical, communication, and operational skills

  Knowledge of medication, dosage measurement, pharmacy law, and medical terminology

Experience with pharmacy software Kroll and Google Suite is an asset null
