Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Health Services Manager or Health Services Lead, Primary Health Care, the physiotherapist will utilize their full scope of practice for patient assessment and diagnosis in primary care setting family all ages, patient self-management support, behavior change methods, case management and client centered approaches in individual or group settings. The incumbent is team focused and will collaborate with Primary Health Care staff, family physicians, nurse practitioners, family practice nurses, social workers, kinesiologist and other health care providers and community groups. The Physiotherapist provides guidance and support for patients, including providing information about appropriate supports and programs that will meet health and wellness needs and social supports that can assist with daily living. The individual is responsible for the development and delivery of a physiotherapy patient care plan, exercise program development, implementation and evaluation and must possess excellent leadership skills. The incumbent is a member of a highly collaborative inter-disciplinary team and collaborates with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participates in the evaluation of team effectiveness, solves problems, and shares responsibilities.
