We are hiring for a client in Calgary looking for a Plam Clean-Up worker to support their woodworking and production team. This role involves hands-on tasks including cleaning up laminate (Plam) edges, removing debris, prepping wood surfaces, and assisting with the finishing process. It’s ideal for someone with an eye for detail and some experience in wood products or cabinetry environments.This is a full-time position located at a transit-accessible site. Hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays from 7:00am to 12:00pm.

Clean and trim excess laminate (Plam) from wood componentsSand, wipe down, and prep surfaces for finishing or assemblyAssist with staining or minor finishing tasks as neededRemove debris, maintain cleanliness of the work areaInspect completed parts for quality before moving them along the production lineWork closely with other departments to ensure production flowQualifications
Experience working in a woodworking or cabinet manufacturing setting is an assetFamiliarity with hand tools like routers, trimmers, or sanding blocksDetail-oriented with a focus on clean finishes and quality controlAble to lift, bend, and stand for full shifts in a fast-paced environmentCSA-approved steel toe boots requiredWillingness to learn and contribute to a team-focused environmentSummary
