Practical Nurse (PN) Instructor – Lab & Clinical (Long Term Care settings)

Discovery Community College has an onsite/in-person instructing opportunity available in the Central Island (Nanaimo) area for the right individual, to help guide our students through their training towards becoming fully qualified and desperately needed LPNs.

The instruction will be for the Lab and Clinical portions of our PN program in Nanaimo (approx. 28 to 40 hours per week as scheduled).

The wage range for this position will be:  $33 to $40 per hour (depending on experience and credentials)

  What you have:

• Passion for making a real difference required!

• Current full registration with the BCCNM – required.

• Three or more years of full-time nursing experience – required.

• Minimum 4200 hours of nursing experience

• Nursing experience must include experience in acute and LTC care settings

• Ability to teach adult learners (mentoring / instructing)

• Previous experience an asset (please forward examples)
