Job Description

This position involves picking orders for pet products including pet food, litter, and other heavy pet supplies. Candidates will perform manual labor and operate a double walkie/double end rider to pick orders using the Vocollect voice system. The role requires continuous lifting to build pallets on the jack and may involve picking products from pallets overhead.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for pet products including pet food, litter, and other heavy supplies.

• Operate a double walkie/double end rider to pick orders using the Vocollect voice system.

• Continuously lift products to build pallets on the jack.

• Pick products from pallets overhead.

• Perform case picking with the VoCollect system.

• Utilize RF scan gun for inventory tasks.

• Handle shipping and receiving, material handling, unloading, loading, and palletizing.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating electric pallet jack, walkie, and end rider power pallet.

• Order picking experience.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously.

• Shipping and receiving experience.

• Material handling experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• RF experience.

• Vocollect headset picking experience.

• Double End Rider experience.

• Reach and Dockstocker forklift experience.

• Shipper/receiver experience.

Work Environment

You will be working in a 3PL warehouse for PetSmart. The shift is Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm with overtime available. The position offers an hourly rate of $21.00. The work environment is supportive and pet-friendly. The new warehouse address is 16-, Rockyview County, AB, T1X 2V8, and if the position becomes long-term, this will be the permanent work location. Note that this location is not transit accessible.
