Our team has a 12-month contract opening for an Analyst.Responsibilities:
Develop accurate simulation models of power systems (PSCAD, EMTP, Hypersim, RSCAD, etc.).
Implement and validate simulation models to assess system performance under various scenarios and operating conditions.
Perform detailed analysis of power systems electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation results and provide insights into grid stability, fault response, and dynamic behavior.
Collaborate with the research and development team to investigate emerging technologies and assist in preparing technical reports based on simulation findings.
What you’ll bring to the team:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a focus of Real-Time Simulation.
Strong experience in using RTDS simulator or other real-time simulation platforms (e.g., OPAL-RT, Typhoon HIL) for power system modeling and analysis.
Knowledge of power system modeling, including generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and real-time control systems are assets.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
