The Don Valley Animal Hospital has been serving the Don Mills community for over 35 years. We are located west of the D.V.P. on Lawrence Ave. E. across from the Shops on Don Mills. We pride ourselves in providing the personal and professional care that you should expect from a veterinary hospital. As pet owners ourselves we understand the importance and value of our companions in our daily life. Our team offers a warm, respectful, compassionate and loving environment to all our clients and their pets. You will be greeted by our trained receptionist and work alongside our Registered Veterinary Technicians that will assist in caring for pets throughout appointments. We offer a wide range of services including, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, the existence of nutritional and behavioural services.

In this role, you will create and lead a collaborative team environment that fosters growth, engagement, and exceptional client experiences. You’ll use your empathy and problem-solving skills to swiftly resolve any issues, ensuring smooth operations and happy clients. Your day-to-day will involve striving for operational excellence, managing team schedules, and supporting talent acquisition efforts by sourcing Locum DVMs and RVTs as needed. You’ll provide onboarding and coaching to new team members, conduct annual reviews, and offer feedback and support to help your team grow.
You’ll also manage inventory, budgets, and all financial aspects of the practice. You’ll also make a splash on social media, shouting about all the great things your team is inspiring and doing. Please note this purpose of his position is to provide coverage for leave with an unknown return date. Experience in managing or veterinary industry is preferred. Ability to cover two practice locations is an asset.
