– Forecasting, planning, and assessing needs for goods and services to project stock levels, manage budgets and prepare reports.
– Liaising with suppliers and following up on delivery times.
– Negotiating with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and access to best costs. Researching new suppliers.
– Managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including tender review.
– Monitoring market trends.Qualifications
– 10+ years of experience in procurement with increasing responsibility, demonstrating skills in planning, organizing, financial management, budgeting, and decision-making.
– University degree in logistics, business administration, purchasing, or supply chain management.
– Strong market awareness.
– Applicable Procurement-related certifications (preferred).
– Finance and budgeting experience (preferred).
– Experience in a financial institution (preferred).Summary
