- Administer and ensure that WCLC Procurement policies are adhered to.
- Lead role in sourcing, supplier evaluation and contract negotiation
- Manages and executes all activities involving procuring goods and service for corporate contracts.
- Advises and leads internal business partners through various procurement processes including design through contract administration.
- Assists in the development and negotiations of new supplier agreements and contracts.
- Maintain RFx database.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in contracts administration or related discipline, well versed in contract negotiation
- Enrollment in Purchasing Management program preferred
- Knowledge of Inventory controls/ previous purchasing experience, a definite asset
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Excel and Word
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines
- Cross functional team experience
