Production Wood Worker
Location: Kitchener, ON
Pay: $18-20/hour
Shift: Days (Monday to Friday)
Position can lead to long-term employment for the right candidate!
Express Employment Professionals are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Wood Workers to join our client’s production team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the puddy line to fill surface imperfections on laminate flooring.
- Inspect boards for defects before and after puddy application.
- Mix and apply wood filler according to specifications.
- Sand, smooth, and prep boards for final finishing stages.
- Maintain clean and safe workstations.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure product quality.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wood or laminate flooring production preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with shop tools, sanding equipment, and production line procedures is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
