Production Wood Worker

Location: Kitchener, ON

Pay: $18-20/hour

Shift: Days (Monday to Friday)

Express Employment Professionals are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Wood Workers to join our client’s production team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the puddy line to fill surface imperfections on laminate flooring.
• Inspect boards for defects before and after puddy application.
• Mix and apply wood filler according to specifications.
• Sand, smooth, and prep boards for final finishing stages.
• Maintain clean and safe workstations.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure product quality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in wood or laminate flooring production preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with shop tools, sanding equipment, and production line procedures is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
