Job Description

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our team. The role involves the production of fuel cell components according to work instructions, assembly of plates and stacks, and working on both automation and manual lines. This contract position is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The work will be conducted in a cleanroom environment, requiring setup of equipment, visual inspections, logistics support, cleaning, documentation, and attendance at meetings and training sessions.

Pay

• $20.50/hour

Shift

• Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Produce fuel cell components according to work instructions

• Assemble plates and stacks for the final product of fuel cell components

• Operate both automation and manual lines

• Set up equipment as per work instructions

• Perform visual inspections at various production steps

• Support logistics by transporting and moving parts

• Clean work areas and equipment

• Document processes clearly

• Attend meetings and training sessions as required

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of recent experience in a similar work environment or relevant technical role

• Technical experience

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and TEAMS

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

• Strong team player

• Organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Willingness to work on different production stations with increasing complexity and responsibility

Work Environment

The role involves working in a cleanroom environment with controlled humidity and temperature. Shifts rotate every few weeks, with a typical PM shift from 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm and starting shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm. Flexibility in shift timing is essential. The dress code includes comfortable clothing, coveralls, hairnet, glasses, and gloves. The team consists of 25 members, including quality, maintenance, and production staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 – $20.50/hr.
