Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Do you have experience with food handling?A major food production facility and distributor in Prince George are looking for meat packager to join their friendly crew!MEAT PACKAGER
Opportunity: Full time, temporary to permanent position
Location: Prince George
Hours: 5AM-1PM, Monday-Friday
Pay rate: $19-20/hour
Start: ASAPAdvantages

Responsibilities

• Processing of meat, ready for packing
• Vacuum packing meat cuts
• Boxing of products
• Organising and checking meat deliveries
• Ensuring safety and cleanliness procedures are followed

Qualifications

• Prep cook or grocery meat or fish department experience is an asset
• Understands weights and measures
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and stay productive and results-oriented throughout the shift
