For our site at Vaughan we are lookig forProduction SuperintendentYour role in our team:
Assist the Production Manager to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations for all production shifts in the automated facility
Generate, analyze, and provide feedback relating to a variety of production and key performance indicator reports, ensuring superior, data-driven operational output
Work with the Production Manager to review operating procedures to achieve and maintain customer service levels
Together with leadership team, drive departmental and team operational excellence through regular process reviews and real-time feedback based on measurable deliverables
Maintain open, effective, and responsive communication with the customer on all aspects of operations
Provide leadership and support, including training and development to Production team
Responsible for shift productivity, output, and operational costs
Ideal candidate profile:
University Degree in Engineering, Business Admin or equivalent related field
Five years experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment
Ability to implement systems and to lead by example
Familiarity with quality principles, continuous improvement methodologies, basic logistics and supply chain principles
Previous experience in warehouse, supply chain, manufacturing, grocery, or retail industries
Basic understanding of automated material handling systems
Travel and Shifts:
This role may require occasional domestic and/or international travel in order to undergoing relevant training, to attend internal and/or customer meetings, and/or to support other facilities as needed.
Flexibility to work any shift as required by operational needs
Ability to be on-call as needed to ensure operational integrity
