The Investigaytors is a community health leadership program that equips young queer, trans, non-binary and Two-Spirit people with the social connections, health knowledge, and community-based research skills they need to be health leaders in their communities. The primary objective of the Investigaytors program is capacity-building through hands-on research experience grounded in the principles of community-based research. With a focus on the sexual and reproductive health of 2SLGBTQIA+ people, program participants will learn the research skills necessary to conduct and analyze data from a national survey.
Your opportunity:
The Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work (FIFSW), University of Toronto ‘s CRUISElab (cruiselab.ca) in collaboration with the Community-Based Research Center (CBRC) are seeking a passionate and organized Program Coordinator to provide administrative and program support to “The Investigaytors” program. Working under the direction of Dr. David Brennan, Founder and Director of CRUISElab and Associate Dean, Research, and with the community/academic mentorship team, the successful incumbent will be responsible for coordinating all administrative aspects of the Investigaytors project and the CRUISElab including meeting/training logistics and facilitation, literature review, drafting training session guides and assisting with the development of the curriculum.
This role is currently eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, pursuant to University policies and guidelines, including but not limited to the University of Toronto’s Alternative Work Arrangements Guideline.
