If you are willing to be part of a team that is dedicated to growth, high performance and a culture of safety and accountability, we would like to hear from you!Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Controls Manager will provide assistance and leadership for project control functions; including planning, cost control, schedule analysis, and scope management.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team to develop, implement and manage project controls systems and procedures for the Lynn Lake Project
• Working with accounting personnel to ensure accurate reporting and approval of accruals, forecasts, and project status.
• Early identification and notification of deviations and variances to project baseline schedule and spend.
• Weekly and monthly reporting to the project team concerning cost, scope and schedule status.
• Compilation and review of weekly and monthly cost reports that reconcile to site financial cost reports.
• Coordination of project Change Management process and procedures.
• Coordination of project risk assessments and risk register.
• Work collaboratively with the Contracts team to support the formation of construction and procurement contracts
• Comparing physical job progress against contractor progress reports, accruals and invoices.
• Assisting contractors & vendors in the set-up and implementation of project controls procedures required by the project.
• Monitor and manage scope growth in engineering, procurement and construction contracts.
• Review and analysis of contractor and project schedule updates.
• Other tasks as required.

Education : Bachelor’s degree
Bachelor’s degreeExperience : 0 years: 8-10 year experience in managing projects and/or project controls.
0 years: Mining or heavy industrial construction experience considered an asset.
0 years: Working knowledge of accounting principles and requirements required.
0 years: Experience with Project Management applications (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Prism) required
0 years: Proficient use of Microsoft applications, SAP and PowerBi.
0 years: Excellent planning, leadership, organization and communication skills.
0 years: Ability to communicate and interact within all levels of the organization.
0 years: Ability and willingness to work the required rotation schedule.Licences & certifications Project Mgmt Professional
