Together, we’ll push boundaries, inspire creativity, and drive success!We are looking for a Project Engineer specialized in municipal water and wastewater treatment to join our water team and work with our fast-growing multi-disciplinary Infrastructure team on a wide variety of projects in Ontario including water and wastewater treatment, pumping, storage, and distribution.You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Mississauga, Kitchener or London office.Primary responsibilities include:

  • Participate in all phases of project planning, design, construction, and commissioning of municipal water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Be supported by technical experts from multiple disciplines in our Water group including structural, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and civil to successfully deliver projects.
  • Manage project resources, schedule, budget, quality management and project risk assessment on behalf of CIMA+ to meet client expectations.
  • Prepare and supervise engineering studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans and contract documents, cost estimates, and construction documents.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, project stakeholders and contractors.
  • Mentor other staff on fundamentals of project delivery and general project management skills.
  • Assist with proposal preparation for water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Participate in site inspections for condition assessment and/or design purposes
  • Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of directly applicable water and wastewater experience in working with municipal clients in engineering or project management roles, with a focus on GTA clients and/or Southwestern Ontario.
  • Demonstrated success and expertise in water/wastewater treatment project planning and design, including knowledge of unit process design and hydraulics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Valid ‘G’ Driver’s license
