Description and RequirementsWork Location: Onsite 100%Position Type: Contract, 12 months (high potential for extension)Location: Mississauga, ONCompensation Package: $71/hr (T4) to $82/hr (Inc)Our multinational retail client is seeking a Project Manager to join the team. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, strategic planning, transformation and leadership. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, align them with our business goals, and ensure successful execution.Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Strategic Alignment: Design processes, tools, and operating cadences to achieve organizational outcomes. Work closely with senior management to prioritize workstreams and allocate resources effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, team members, and partners. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Leadership: Support a cross-functional team, providing direction, support, and motivation. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Performance Monitoring: Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report on project progress, performance, and outcomes. Help manage discussion points, assign action items, and track progress towards project goals, while also actively monitoring potential risks and roadblocks that might arise during the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on strategic projects.
• Experience in Media/Advertising a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
