The project manager for a mid-rise residential build oversees all aspects of construction, from planning to completion. Responsibilities include managing budgets, timelines, resources, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. They coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders, resolve issues, and track project progress to meet deadlines.Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resources. Oversee the daily operations of the project, ensuring milestones are achieved.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial controls are in place. Approve invoices and work with the finance team to maintain budget compliance.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and supervise project teams, including subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets the required quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. Proactively resolve issues and challenges that may impact the project’s schedule or quality.
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, senior management, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and ensure any concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety regulations, environmental standards, and building code compliance. Ensure all project activities adhere to local and federal regulations.
  • Documentation & Records: Maintain detailed records of project progress, changes, and decisions. Prepare and submit reports as required for stakeholders.

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience in GTA condominium construction as a mid or High rise residential project manager, working on multiple **(atleast 2)** full-cycle mid- or high-rise residential developments a must
  • Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent is preferred
  • Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
  • Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale multi family construction projects
  • Additional tasks and duties as required
  • extensive knowledge of OBC
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
