On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Client’s team on a contract basis. This role is Hybrid and the Client is based in Richmond, BC.Summary of the Role
The Quality Assurance Analyst will join an Agile team working on a Digital Twin product. This position focuses on ensuring the quality and performance of Unity front-end applications and C#/.NET backend systems used in real-time operations. The successful candidate will develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop test strategies and plans based on business and technical requirements.Conduct functional, integration, regression, and usability testing on Unity and .NET platforms.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on test coverage.Create and manage test cases, track bugs, and document QA activities using JIRA and Confluence.Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.Report and document defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.Core Requirements3+ years of QA experience, with a focus on functional testing.Experience testing Unity front-end and C#/.NET backend systems.Proficient with QA methodologies including system, integration, and regression testing.Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with DevOps practices.Proficient with JIRA and Confluence for test and defect management.Desired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.Experience with Gamedriver.IO framework.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of aviation industry standards is an asset.Terms
This is a 12-month contract opportunity. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite at the Richmond location and 2 days remote.
