Job Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a detail oriented Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspector. This position will ensure that incoming parts fall within the necessary specifications to ensure quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
This individual will be responsible for:
Inspecting incoming material to ensure they are within engineering specifications using but not limited to the following tools:
o Calipers
o Microscope
o Gauges
Conduct tests to ensure fit and form of incoming parts when measuring devices cannot be used.
Identify and document non-conformances and communicate findings with the appropriate teams and suppliers.
Record inspection results, test data and observations to be shared with appropriate teams and suppliers.
Maintain clear and accurate records of all inspections.
Collaborate with procurement teams and operations to resolve quality issues with suppliers.
Participate in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Provide input into improving the inspection process and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
The expected annual base salary range for this position will be $50k-$55k CAD.

Skills and Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and quality control systems.
Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and the ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment. null
