Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toNational Real Estate ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesAs a Regional Real Estate Manager (Project Management), you will manage leasing/buying transactions and major projects over the Canadian real estate portfolio. You will be the main point of contact to provide internal businesses optimal working/production/warehousing environments. This role requires a dynamic leader who can build productive relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal requirements. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area and is located in Saint-Laurent. The work model is hybrid with one day per week at the office. You will have to travel across Canada 10%-15% of the time. • Builds strategic relationships with local division leadership to understand their future real estate related supply and demand requirements. • Participate on the real estate strategic development plans for all business areas and divisions to enhance the local division facilities for both current and prescribed future needs. • Participate on the creation of a real estate strategic plan with required investments and space requirements to meet the business strategies. • Oversee the acquisition, development, and management of real estate assets to support business operations and growth. • Lead real estate portfolio review with the business for location base in your region on a regular basis during the year. (Cost efficiencies, strategy). • Responsible of the action plan define with the business to ensure deadlines are met and communicated. • Lead and manage all real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and lease/sublease negotiations. • Oversee the planning and execution of facility-related projects and renovations. • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of ongoing transactions and projects. • Hires and manages third party, consultants and professionals. • Builds intuitive business cases, project charter and to be able to effectively communicate them to relevant stakeholders.Qualifications for the role
