Animal Care Centre of Strathmore is welcoming Registered Veterinary Technologists to join our mixed animal practice in Strathmore, AB.

• Have completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
• Technical skills or knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
• Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
• Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
• Passion to learn more within the role

About the Hospital

Our 10,000 square foot mixed practice facility with 8 vets, 10 RVT’s and 15 support team members allows us the opportunity to welcome a new team member who will be embraced and supported to flourish in their role.
