assistants to work during the summer of 2025 (full-time or part-time) and
throughout the 2025-2026 academic year (part-time).The research assistants will conduct legal and policy research, collect and
analyze data, co- author research, and provide editing and formatting
assistance. They may also be invited to participate in, and present research,
at conferences and meetings held in Canada or abroad. The research
assistants will work on research and applied projects addressing the linkages
between human rights, health, and the environment (for an overview of
research themes and recent publications, see and
), with one research assistant specifically
assigned to join an empirical project focused on the lived experience of
climate change for people with disabilities in Montreal.Qualifications:
Must be a current law student at McGill University.
Qualifications required: Excellent legal analysis and writing skills in English
or French, excellent oral communication skills, demonstrated ability to
meet deadlines, excellent sense of initiative, excels at working with others,
and attention to detail. Training in and experience with qualitative research
methods (specifically conducting interviews) is a requirement for one of
these positions.Assets: Knowledge and prior experience with the fields of disability, health,
climate adaptation, or environmental justice are an asset. Training in and
experience with quantitative methods is an asset for one of these positions.Description du poste:
Le professeur Jodoin cherche à recruter deux étudiant.e.s en droit pour
rejoindre son laboratoire en tant qu’assistant.e.s de recherche pendant l’été
2025 (à temps plein ou à temps partiel) et tout au long de l’année
universitaire 2025-2026 (à temps partiel).Les assistant.e.s de recherche mèneront des recherches juridiques et
politiques, collecteront et analyseront des données, co-rédigeront des
recherches et apporteront leur aide à la révision et à la mise en forme des
textes. Ils et elles pourront également être invité.e.s à participer à des
conférences et des réunions organisées au Canada ou à l’étranger, et à y
présenter les travaux du laboratoire. Les assistant.e.s de recherche
travailleront sur des projets de recherche et des projets appliqués portant
sur les liens entre les droits de la personne, la santé et l’environnement
(pour un aperçu des thèmes de recherche et des publications récentes,
voir www.sjodoin.ca et www.disabilityinclusiveclimate.org). Un.e assistant.e
de recherche sera spécifiquement affecté.e à un projet empirique axé sur
l’expérience vécue du changement climatique par les personnes handicapées
à Montréal.Qualifications:
Vous devez être actuellement étudiant.e en droit à l’Université McGill.
Qualifications requises : Excellentes compétences en analyse juridique et en
rédaction en anglais ou en français, excellentes compétences en
communication orale, capacité avérée à respecter les délais, excellent sens
de l’initiative, excellentes aptitudes à travailler en équipe et souci du détail.
Une formation et une expérience des méthodes de recherche qualitative (en
particulier la conduite et l’analyse d’entretiens) sont requises pour l’un de
ces postes.Atouts : Des connaissances et de l’expérience préalable dans les domaines
du handicap, de la santé, de l’adaptation au climat ou de la justice
environnementale sont un atout. Une formation et l’expérience des
