About the role

The Blavatnik School of Government is looking for an outstanding self-starting Research Assistant to join the What Works Hub for Global Education (WWHGE) – a new £30m six-year global research and policy effort. You will work with the Academic Director (Noam Angrist), the Senior Research Manager and the Postdoctoral Researchers on Pillar 3 of the WWHGE (the development of a new science of implementation).

About you

You will possess excellent data analysis and statistics/econometrics skills, with a clear knowledge of impact evaluation. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage their own research and administrative activities effectively. A first degree in economics, public policy, or development studies (with a focus on development economics), experience of development economics and behavioural economics, and flexible can-do approach to work are essential.
