Research Associate, Efficacy of NMT2-Blood Test in Detecting Colorectal Polyps and Cancer

*This is a term position until March 31, 2026*Research Associates:Under the general direction of, and in collaboration with researchers and faculty members, positions at this level apply extensive knowledge in their field to perform high-level, complex research activities, and will normally hold a Master’s degree. Individuals with training beyond a Master’s degree who have limited experience may also be appointed into this classification level.Position Overview:A Research Associate position is available for a project focused on developing a blood test for colorectal screening. Dr. Shrivastav’s team has identified novel biomarkers for the detection of colorectal adenomas and cancer. This study is a clinical trial that involves recruiting participants from the colorectal cancer screening population and collecting blood samples. The blood samples will be processed in Dr. Shrivastav’s laboratory, where the expression of the biomarkers will be evaluated.Duties and Responsibilities:
