This is a full time calendar year position, limited to 08/31/2027 with anticipated renewal.
Job Description SummaryBASIC FUNCTION:
Support the day-to-day activities of the mixed methods research that includes an iterative design process involving children ages 3-6 and their adult caretakers, and partnerships between University faculty, PBS station educators, and media developers. Support the BIAS Project.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve project outcomes.
Monitor project progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
Establish effective communication to ensure the project aligns with institutional goals including communication with media companies and non-formal education organizations.
Assign tasks, tracking progress, and providing guidance to staff.
Perform mixed methods research in the social sciences.
Design work on digital educational resources.
Work collaboratively as a team player.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform other duties as assigned.
LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:
Personal computers, printers, word processing, database management and spreadsheet software.

Required QualificationsREQUIRED:
1. Master’s Degree in an education related field.
2. Demonstrated ability to work professionally with young children and their families.
3. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects.
5. Demonstrated ability to mentor student research assistants.
6. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
7. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
