They will provide delivery of direct support services to all individuals within the residential setting, and ensure the physical and emotional well-being and safety/security of all individuals within the residence in alignment with YWCA Hamilton’s Mission and Vision Statements.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ATTITUDE:Is empathetic to the needs and rights of persons with developmental disabilities and will believe in the principles of integration, positive support planning and that all persons have the potential to learn. Will ensure that individuals we support are treated with respect and dignity.Please Note: The physical demands of the role may include, but are not limited to lifting (up to 25 kg), bending, twisting, reaching, sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, and moving constantly throughout the shift.QualificationsMinimum Education:
