Overview

We are hiring an experienced Restaurant Manager for a Turkish Cuisine resturant to oversee daily operations at busy, fine-dining restaurants in Hamilton, Waterloo and Downtown Toronto. This role requires hands-on leadership combined with strong operational oversight, including FOH and BOH management, staffing, cost control, and service standards. Experience in Middle Eastern or Turkish restaurant concepts is highly valued

Here is What You Will Be Doing

Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee end-to-end daily restaurant operations
  • Ensure consistent service, food quality, and brand standards
  • Lead FOH and BOH teams to operate efficiently and collaboratively
  • Act as the main point of accountability for shift performance

Operational Management

  • Manage labour planning, scheduling, and payroll accuracy
  • Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor coordination
  • Implement operational systems, procedures, and service standards
  • Review sales, labour, and performance reports and take corrective action

People & Performance

  • Train, coach, and evaluate FOH and BOH staff
  • Support leadership development within the team
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and accountable work culture

Are you Qualified?

  • 3–5+ years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or Operations-focused Assistant Manager
  • Strong background in fine dining or upscale, high-volume restaurants
  • Proven experience managing both FOH and BOH operations
  • Hands-on experience with labour control, inventory, cost management, and scheduling
  • Food safe certified
  • Ability to read and act on sales, labour, and performance data
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with Middle Eastern or Turkish cuisine preferred
  • Turkish language skills an asset, not required

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Heat Surfaces
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling, repetitive movements
  • Moving equipment
