Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Risk Specialist to join one of Canadas leading insurance companies. A successful candidate will be responsible for conducting risk assessments to identify hazards and exposures, consulting with clients on loss control practices, and preparing detailed reports for underwriting. Risk evaluations will be conducted on through site surveys and file reviews, visiting insureds to understand their operations and assess risks and controls. You will also be responsible for consulting with clients on loss control and prevention practices then prepare evaluation reports and recommendations for underwriting.

Skills and Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in the insurance industry

     - Experience assessing risks in power generation, mining, and/or oil and gas industries

     - Certified to conduct inspections, COC (Certificate of Competency)

NBBI (National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors) certified or in progress null
