We are seeking a Systems Testing/QA Specialist to perform thorough testing in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). This role involves creating and executing test plans for web applications, ensuring WCAG compliance, and working with tools like Selenium, Playwright, Oracle DB, Azure DevOps, and RESTful API testing.Advantages

Responsibilities

  • Develop test cases, scripts, and strategies for functional, non-functional, and integration testing.
  • Maintain test artifacts, follow structured methodologies, and ensure coverage for all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Utilize tools like Selenium and Playwright to automate test scenarios.
  • Validate WCAG compliance using AXE and screen readers (NVDA, Narrator), providing feedback on accessibility best practices.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries against Oracle DB, interpret PL/SQL, and analyze data integrity.
  • Test RESTful APIs with tools such as Postman or SoapUI, troubleshooting responses, and performance.
  • Manage test cases, track defects, and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues, coordinate with project teams, and provide status updates.
  • Contribute to user acceptance testing activities, assist in knowledge transfer, and adhere to designated repositories for storing artifacts.
  • Engage with stakeholders in agile or waterfall frameworks, supporting efficient, high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) for test script creation and execution.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript to test Angular applications.
  • Familiarity with Oracle DB (SQL, PL/SQL) and Azure DevOps for test management/defect tracking.
  • Skills in RESTful API testing via Postman or SoapUI.
  • Ability to perform WCAG compliance testing using AXE and screen readers.
  • Exposure to agile/scrum and traditional waterfall environments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with coding automated test scripts and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
