Are you an experienced Software Developer with a strong background in developing large-scale business applications? Our client seeks a skilled Software Developer to leverage existing data, improve information sharing, and enhance analytics to support better decision-making.As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in building robust, scalable applications that support the client’s framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop web-based solutions, APIs, and backend integrations while following Agile methodologies.Advantages

The Services and Deliverables to be provided by the Software Developer will include the following:
Web User Interface:
– Fully commented and functional user interface code for web-based solutions
– Unit test code
– Test code for automated UI tests
– Application Programming Interfaces (API)
– Exposing data via APIs
– Instructions for developers on how to effectively use and integrate the API.
– Backend Development
– Code that allows a database and an application to communicate with one anotherAs well as:
– Source Code based on specifications.
– Knowledge Transfer Sessions and documentation for technical staff related to designing and implementing the above-stated Web User Interface.Qualifications
Must Haves:
– 5+ years experience with developing large-scale business applicationsGeneral Skills:
– 5+ years experience with Agile delivery methodologies (i.e. Scrum)
– 5+ years experience with developing and documenting Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
– Knowledge of Ontario Digital Services
– Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
– Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
– Solid business acumen, ability to dialogue with Business teams/leadership to understand their priorities/goals, with an intense focus on delivering Business value.Summary
