The Safety Abroad Coordinator participates in the development, implementation and monitoring of international safety education, training, processes, and communications. This role works extensively in Waterloo International’s Client Relationships Management (CRM) software system to maintain traveller records. This role maintains the pre-departure training course in LEARN as per the University’s travel safety requirements. They deliver in-person travel safety briefings (presentations) as appropriate. This role includes evening and weekend on-call emergency incident monitoring and participates in emergency response efforts.
